Interactive Manga and Choose-Your-Own-Path Adventures
MangaOra Adventures let you create and play interactive, branching manga stories—choose-your-own-path narratives with AI-generated art and consistent characters.
What are Adventures?
Adventures (sometimes called RPG or interactive manga) are choose-your-own-path stories built in MangaOra. As a creator, you design a saga: chapters, scenes, and choices that lead to different outcomes. As a player, you read the story and make decisions—each choice leads to a new scene, with AI-generated art and consistent characters. It's like a visual novel or interactive comic where the story branches based on what you choose.
Creating an adventure
Creators use the Adventures admin or saga editor to define the world, main cast, and chapter structure. You write or generate scene scripts and add choices at key moments. Each choice can lead to another scene or to a conclusion. The AI generates character references and scene art so every path looks polished. When the saga is published, players can start a run and make choices as they go—no coding required.
Playing an adventure
From the Dashboard, open Adventures and pick a saga. Start a new run and you'll see the opening scene and your first choice. Click a choice to advance; the next scene loads with art and text. Your run is saved so you can continue later. You can also replay and choose differently to see other branches—that's the magic of interactive manga.
Why interactive manga matters
Interactive manga blends storytelling and reader agency. It's a natural fit for AI-assisted creation: the same character and style can appear across dozens of branches without hand-drawing every variant. MangaOra makes it possible to build and publish these experiences without a full game engine, so storytellers can focus on narrative and choices while the tools handle art and structure.
